Dianna Marie Marquis, 25, Randel Road, Hanoverton, was westbound on state Route 39 in Washington Township at 4 p.m. Saturday and slid off the right side into a tree and over a hillside. She was cited for failure to control and taken to East Liverpool hospital with minor injuries.

State Street in Salem will be reopened for the weekend for Saturday and Sunday, but motorists can expect some delays on Pershing Street and possibly Penn Avenue due to the city paving project. City Service/Safety Director Ken Kenst said grinding work will commence on Pershing from Howard to Lincoln, with the base coat applied.

Deputies were called to the home on Depot Street, Lisbon, at 2:39 p.m. Friday after the resident reportedly shot himself in the cheek with a rifle. He told deputies this is the third time he has attempted suicide.

Snay was cited for failure to control and taken into custody on a misdemeanor warrant through the Columbiana County Municipal Court for domestic violence. - Darryl G. Hoppell II, 49, Bell School Road, East Liverpool, was westbound on a motorcycle on East Liverpool Road in Madison Township at 11:48 a.m. Sunday and lost control in a curve and went off the right side and overturned on loose dirt.

Hanoverton man faces OVI after crash onto porch

According to highway patrol Sgt. Barry Thompson, Matthew R. Cresanto, 38, Gavers Road, was traveling west around 2:13 a.m. on U.S. Route 30 in Center Township when he drove his 2003 Chevrolet Silverado C1500 off the left side of the road where Route 30 bends sharply right at a vee intersection with Wayne Bridge Road.

Burkett told deputies he had personal property on Rhodes' property, two transmissions, a motor undercarriage and transmission all in one piece, four doors with power windows, two fenders and one hood. However, Rhodes reportedly removed all his items and scrapped them.

Brianne M. Flaherty, 19, Birch Road, East Liverpool, was sentenced in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to 12 months at the Reformatory for Women in Marysville for complicity to robbery. She was given credit for 67 days previously served.

Heidi Tomalka, South Elm Street, Columbiana, reported at 12:38 a.m. Friday her boyfriend flipped out while she was driving him. She stopped the vehicle on state Route 154 near Camp Fredrick, told her he would kill himself by lying on the tracks and walked away.

In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Friday, Gary A. Wright Jr, 47, Maple Hill, Salineville, was fined $1,050, had his license suspended for 24 months, required to perform 50 hours community service and sentenced to 40 days in jail for OVI third offense, driving under FRA suspension and open container. An improper registration citation was dismissed.

The pipe was located in the passenger seat pouch in a wooden box that also contained marijuana residue, according to reports. Hart was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
